Founded in 2011 in Portugal, BRABBU is a luxury furniture brand built on the idea that great interiors should carry the same intensity as the natural world. Savannahs, volcanic landscapes, ancient forests, and wild coastlines are not mere aesthetic references — they are the genuine starting points for each piece the brand produces. In little over a decade BRABBU has established itself as a regular at Salone del Mobile and a trusted name in high-end residential and hospitality projects across Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
The furniture catalog spans every room. In seating, the Wales Sofa — upholstered in cotton velvet with a vintage brass base and bronze nailhead trim — has become one of the brand's most recognized pieces. The George and Maree sofas follow, each named after a specific geography whose character is legible in the silhouette and material. For dining spaces, the Bourbon and Stola dining chairs offer two distinct moods: the former classically proportioned in velvet and brass, the latter softer and more sculptural with draped upholstery. The Essex Armchair, finished in aged brushed brass, and the Karoo Counter Stool — named after the semi-desert plateau of South Africa — extend the collection into more intimate and social settings. Tables and consoles maintain the same formal discipline: the Koi Center Table and Ardara Console combine metal bases with stone or glass tops in compositions that read as architectural objects as much as furniture.
Brass — polished, aged, or lacquered — runs as a consistent material signature across the entire BRABBU range. It appears in bases, legs, hardware, and decorative details, giving the collection visual coherence whether a piece is upholstered in velvet, leather, or boucle. All furniture is handcrafted in Europe and fully customizable through a COM/COL program, allowing interior designers and private clients to specify their own fabrics and finishes. This flexibility makes BRABBU equally viable for a private penthouse and a five-star hotel lobby — two environments the brand regularly supplies. The combination of named geographies, premium materials, and rigorous handcraft gives each piece a narrative weight that mass-produced furniture simply cannot offer.
